About the project
This film production company’s mission is to give a voice to the underrepresented. They are bold, and they want to fill the world with stories that are written an portrayed by people of colour, by queer artists, by single mothers, the elderly, anyone who has a story that strays from the traditional popular narrative. So they wanted their logo and brand to represent that.
Bold, but also curvy with a little grit, this brand is the culmination of many conversations and much research and the client felt like the end result completely represented their vision.
For the website, they wanted simple, clean and easy to navigate. They wrote the content to minimize the amount of text so as to showcase the films and put that front and center. Because they are just starting out, we used a lot of visuals from their brand throughout the site.
The response was very positive with several people commenting on their site and branding at the 2019 Berlinale film festival.
